The bronze duo will leave their Haddonfield bench Friday morning
Haddonfield’s two most famous residents are pulling up stakes Friday, March 24.
Crossing Paths, a Seward Johnson life size bronze duo, has been on loan from Grounds for Sculpture since October 2015 through the efforts of the Haddonfield Outdoor Sculpture Trust (HOST) but are moving on. Located at Kings Highway near the intersection of Chestnut Street, the ladies have become one of downtown’s most popular attractions, popping up in selfies and in group pictures since their installation among the bustling shops and restaurants.
HOST is a nonprofit with the goal to transform the walkable, attractive and historically significant borough of Haddonfield into a center for juried outdoor sculpture in the tradition of public art. “Crossing Paths” was the seventh such installation.
HOST has an ongoing campaign to raise funds and evaluate sites for the placement of sculptures through the Trust board. For more information, see Haddonfieldoutdoorsculpture.org
