John (Jack) A Gross, Jr. passed away peacefully on July 28 at the age of 84. John was born in Riverside and was a long-time resident of Pennsauken and more recently Moorestown. He was a long-time member and retiree of IBEW Local #(439) 351.
He was the devoted husband of Eleanor (nee Schlindwein) for 61 years. John was the father of Linda (James) Markley, Mary Alice Gross, Gregory (Antoinette) Gross, Nancy (William) Antczak and Diane (Mark) Skinner.
He was the grandpop of Lauren Markley, Daniel Markley, Paige (Scott) Novak, Jacquelyn Gross and Drew Skinner. He is also survived by his sister Katherine Segrest and brother Peter (Katherine) Gross. He is pre-deceased by his sister Sr. Mary Sharon Gross, RSM.
A funeral service will take place on Thursday, Aug. 1Â at 3 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Home located at 78 E. Main St. in Moorestown.
A viewing will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a private burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
