The Palmyra Police Department is pleased to announce that we will be running our fourth Citizen Police Academy. The program will run on Wednesday evenings from 7 to 9:30 p.m. starting Sept. 18 through Nov. 13.
The academy is designed to provide citizens with a general understanding of the operations and procedures of the Palmyra Police Department. The program is also designed to build a positive rapport between our community and officers.
An application can be picked up at the Palmyra Police Department, 20 W. Broad Street, any time of day or night and must be turned back in no later than Sept. 4. We look forward to your participation!
Eligibility Criteria for applicants:
Must be at least 18 years of age
A resident of Palmyra
No criminal history
