Batter up!

The fourth annual “Fallen Heroes Softball Tournament” returns to Evesham Township on Aug. 25 to raise money for the families of fallen, hometown heroes.

Admission for this event is free, with the tournament once again taking place for the Diamonds at Arrowhead Park from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Locals are invited to join together in support of the Evesham Township Police Department, Evesham Fire-Rescue and other local businesses and organizations as they come together to celebrate the lives of local fallen heroes.

In addition to the charity softball tournament, the event also features fun for the whole family, including music, food trucks, face painting, a balloon artist, celebrity athlete guests, a gift basket auction and more.

Learn more about this night of “fun and remembrance” on the ETPD’s page on Facebook.

Tournament officials also say the tournament has room for a few more teams if any Evesham Community based groups/businesses are interested.

Sponsorships opportunities are also still available.

Those interested can contact Captain Walter Miller with any questions, donations, or team entry requests at [email protected].
