Chainsaw thief reported in Medford, police say

Police were called to Heathcris Court on May 16 after a report that an eight foot expandable gas chainsaw, valued at $1000, had been missing.

The following information is on file with the Medford Township Police Department:

On May 16, at 1:58 p.m., Medford Township Police were called to Heathcris Court for
a past tense theft of an expandable gas chainsaw. During the investigation, it was revealed that a tree cutting company had unintentionally left a Stihl eight foot expandable gas chainsaw in the rear of the property the previous afternoon. Upon workers returning to the property on this date the gas chainsaw was missing from location. The gas powered chainsaw is valued at $1000. This incident is still under investigation by the Medford Township Police Department.
