Voorhees mother-son duo pen children’s book ‘When Oliver Speaks’

Release party, signing for Kimberly Garvin and Saadiq Wicks’ new book is Aug. 19 at Chick-Fil-A

“When Oliver Speaks” is a new release by Kimberly Garvin and Saadiq Wicks.

Kimberly Garvin and Saadiq Wicks will celebrate their newly released children’s book “When Oliver Speaks,” the story of an underdog who learns to rise, from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 19, at Chick-fil-A, 1170 White Horse Road, Voorhees.

Garvin and Wicks will be available to sign pre-purchased copies of the book, which can be ordered at Amazon.com.

Wicks is the founder and director of Lllet Me Finish, an organization dedicated to supporting young people who stutter so they may be successful in school and within their community. Visit www.facebook.com/LLLetMeFinish/ to enter a contest and win a prize at the signing event.
