POLICE: Two women victims of hit-and-run

The following information was received from the Voorhees Police Department’s alert on Nixle.

On Saturday, Jan. 12, at approximately 6:30 p.m. two women were struck by a red or maroon Ford or Mercury sedan on Haddonfield-Berlin Road and North Sunset Drive.

According to the report, the vehicle fled the scene. Both victims were taken to the hospital with severe injuries. There were no witnesses other than the two victims.

The vehicle is missing a passenger side mirror and may have front end damage, the report said.

Police Chief Louis Bordi is asking anyone with information regarding the accident to call the Voorhees Police Crime Tip Line at 627–7174 or Central Communications at 428–5400.
