HOPE Church plans holiday activities through December
There are so many things about the Christmas season that can leave us feeling stressed out and out of sorts. If you want to change your focus this year, and bring the true meaning of Christmas into clearer view, check out some of the activities going on at HOPE Church, located at 700 Cooper Road.
Make room for Wednesday, Dec. 4 and 11 from 7 to 8 p.m. for a time of worship, prayer and teaching on the presence of Christ as we look at the presents the Magi brought to Jesus. This event is free and open to the public. Nursery is also available. Our Family Ministry will offer programs for children from three to fifth grade during that time as well.
On Sunday, Dec. 8 at 4:30 p.m., take an hour off from your busy schedule to be inspired and entertained by HOPE’s Worship Arts Ministry’s production of “A Christmas Tale.” Come join the fun as a musical troop of storytellers gathers together to communicate a miraculous true story; a story entitled, “Christmas.” This contemporary retelling of the Christmas story features HOPE’s artists including choirs, bands and HOPE Players. Take a break from your usual Sunday afternoon routine and be entertained and inspired by HOPE’s worship artists.
Our very popular Family Christmas Candlelight Services will be held Monday, Dec. 23, at 7 p.m. and Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 4 p.m.
Hear the Christmas Story from the perspective of the old innkeeper who had a front-row seat to our Messiah’s birth. This event is free and open to the public. Nursery is available for children three and under.
Come experience candlelight worship at HOPE and be amazed once again with the birth of our Savior. Two Christmas Candlelight Services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 24. One at 7 p.m. and then again at 9 p.m. Childcare is available for the 7 p.m. worship service. All events are free and open to the public.
All are welcome!
