Voorhees Theatre Company invites children to “be their guest” for an Enchanted Tea Party

The Voorhees Theatre Company invites children to “be their guest” for an Enchanted Tea Party on Oct. 30. to celebrate the non-profit troupe’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Youngsters can pose with Mrs. Potts, bite brownies with Belle, compare neck thickness with Gaston and meet the rest of the cast backstage after the show.

The event will also feature Beauty and the Beast themed arts and crafts, a costume pageant and tea with the cast. Beauty and the Beast is Voorhees Theater Company’s only all-ages production of the year and features a cast of 55 from Camden, Burlington, Gloucester and Atlantic counties.

The Enchanted Tea Party kicks off at noon and concludes at 1:15 p.m. Admission is $10 and advance purchase is encouraged. The show begins at 2 p.m.

Voorhees Theater Company also presents Beauty and the Beast at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 and 29 and another matinee at 2 p.m. on Oct. 29. Tickets for all performance are $15, and both show tickets and Enchanted Tea Party tickets are available in advance at www.voorheestheatre.org.

Tickets for the Enchanted Tea Party or Beauty and the Beast can also be purchased at the Voorhees Middle School Performing Arts Center box office from 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
