Seneca art students awarded at Delsea Regional Art Show

Students entered in categories which included drawing, painting and digital art

Seneca High School art students entered the Second Annual Delsea Regional High School Art Show Wednesday, April 5. Artwork from high school students from all over South Jersey was on display and judged by Rowan University professors. Students entered in three categories: drawing, painting and digital art. Students were not permitted to enter more than one piece of art. Judges selected first, second, and third place winners in each category.

Seneca AP Studio Art students Julia Bechtel (Class of 2017) and Alex Perricone (Class of 2017) both earned second place ribbons. Julia Bechtel won second place in the painting category. Alex Perricone won second place in the drawing category. Other entries were submitted from AP Studio Art students, Art Major students, Creative Arts Media students and Art 3 students. Each class had at least one honorable mention. Out of the 20 pieces that Seneca art students entered, the following students were honorably mentioned for their work: Rachel Goldman, Kat Brown, Emma Thompson, Emma Boeninghaus, Kaleigh Kennedy, Halla Ribar, Kat Chromeck and Devon Borkowski.
