Seneca Community Service Club attended the LeisureTowne cleanup trip.
On Saturday, Nov. 17, 30 students from the Seneca Community Service Club attended the LeisureTowne cleanup trip. Students worked in teams to help the residents of LeisureTowne complete yard work. This included raking and picking up leaves, washing windows, sweeping, pulling weeds and gardening. Both residents and students enjoyed the morning.
“When participating in the LeisureTowne cleanup, you learn to feel grateful and blessed of the things you are able to do in life and we were happy to help, meet and share a memory with the residents,” Seneca student Brandon Hale said.
“It felt great to see how appreciative the seniors were when we finished cleaning their yards,” Bruce Kirschbauum added. “Being involved in this volunteer activity for all four years of my high school career has been one of the best things I’ve done by far and it’s always been a really fun time.”
The following Seneca students participated in the cleanup effort:
Alexis Ettinger, Allison Bierly, Ashley Keller, Austin Endebrook, Brandon Hale, Bruce Kirschbaum, Carolina DiMenna, Chase Ruppel, Colby Anderson, Colin Boisvert, Colton Fejko, Corinne Kent, Emma Boisvert, Emma McCullough, Grace Kennevan, Grace McGowan, Jennifer Barton, Jory Bauer, Katie Olson, Krishna Patel, Leah Moore, Mackenzie Hall, Madison Hale, Maxine Buddendorf, Maya Bareiszis, Michelle Bennett, Olivia Fernandez, Samiya Kelly, Brooke Parry, Shaylan Richards and Sheridan Ott.
