Cherry Hill and most of the Philadelphia region will be under an areal flood watch on Thursday as heavy rain is expected to arrive in the region.

The National Weather Service has issued the flood watch to be in effect from 4 a.m. Thursday morning through 6 p.m. Thursday evening. One to two inches of rain is expected during the day.

According to the National Weather Service, moderate to heavy rain is expected from early Thursday morning through the afternoon.
