The department is putting down their razors to help raise awareness about men’s health
You may have noticed your local police officers sporting a little more facial hair than you’re used to seeing on an officer of the law. Don’t worry, they aren’t going through hard times they’re just participating in the tradition known as “No Shave November”.
During the month of November officers will be allowed to grow mustaches by making a donation to their Movember Team. To join the team or make a donation visit https://moteam.co/cinncity-stashes.
The mission statement of Movember is “To change the face of men’s health”. They are using the site to help raise additional funds and raise awareness for men’s health issues. So far they have raised $3,025. Last year’s total came to $3,230. They are really close, let’s all help them hit their new goal of $3,500.
