Camden County Technical School hosts hot dog launcher competition

More than 100 sixth-, seventh- and eighth-grade students from various schools in Camden County gathered at Camden County Technical School for the first ever CCTS Technology Challenge. The challenge was to build hot dog launchers and launch the hot dogs as far as they could go. One of the teams from Ann A. Mullen School in Gloucester Township came in second place and also won the Team Spirit Award.

Gloucester Township recognizes community members

To celebrate Black History Month, Gloucester Township recognized African-American residents who have demonstrated significant contributions in the area of community service, personal and professional achievements, and general good deeds that have impacted favorable on Gloucester Township citizens at the council meeting on Monday, Feb. 27.

Sicklerville resident named 2017 Camden County 4-H Senior Ambassador

Christina McDonald of Sicklerville was named the 2017 Camden County 4-H Senior Ambassador at the 2017 New Jersey State Agricultural Convention held at Harrah’s Resort and Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City. Ambassadors are 4‑H member representatives of the 4‑H program. They speak on behalf of the larger membership whose purpose is to promote 4‑H to youth, parents, potential leaders, donors, and the general public.
