Come enjoy one of Burlington County’s parks

According to the Burlington County newsletter you can visit Burlington County’s beautiful parks this and take advantage of the abundance of free nature programs available to county residents of all ages. Enjoy a guided nature walk or a challenging hike in the woods. Learn about amphibians and reptiles; fly fishing, backpacking and camping. Or sign up for summer-long programs geared specifically for children and youths.

Sponsored by the Board of Chosen Freeholders, the programs will be held at various parks located throughout the county, including: Historic Smithville Park and Smith’s Woods, Smithville Road, Eastampton; Long Bridge Park, Deacon Road, Hainesport; Boundary Creek Natural Resource Area, Creek Road, Moorestown; Crystal Lake Park, Axe Factory Road, Mansfield; Amico Island Park, Norman Avenue, Delran; Burlington County Community Agricultural Center, Hartford and Centerton Roads, Moorestown; and Willingboro Lakes Park, Beverly-Rancocas Road, Willingboro.

Indoor programs will be held at the Rutgers EcoComplex, Florence-Columbus Road, Mansfield. For park directions, go to www.co.burlington.nj.us/Pages/pages.aspx?cid=584.

All programs are free and open to the public. Please dress for the weather and bring bottled water. Rain cancels and registration is required. For more information, or to register for a program, call 265–5858.
