The Summer Enrichment Program will be held July 5 through August 1 from 8 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. for students in first through eighth grade.
The Burlington Township Board of Education is offering a Summer Enrichment Program to children of Burlington Township residents currently enrolled in first through eighth grade. The Summer Enrichment Program will be held July 5 through August 1 from 8 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., Monday through Friday at the Burlington Township Middle School at Springside.
No credit will be offered for the completion of these courses, and the enrichment courses are unrelated to the regular school program. Enrichment course guide and registration form are posted on the district’s web page.
Each course will be one hour and fifty minutes in length. The first session will go from 8 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. The second session will go from 10 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.
Transportation will be provided daily for arrival at 8 a.m. and departure at 11:50 a.m. However, no transportation will be provided at 9:50 a.m. or 10 a.m. Students attending only one session must find transportation at least one way.
The fee for each class will be $225, and payment in full must be submitted with the application. Applications received without payment will be returned. Please make checks payable to the “Burlington Township Board of Education.”
Completed applications and payment must be returned in person or by mail to The Center for Education, Hopkins Building, P. O. Box 428, Burlington, NJ 08016 by Friday, June 2.
Seats will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Registrants should include a second choice of class for each session. Classes with fewer than eight enrolled students will be cancelled, and the class fee will be refunded. If after registering, parents find their child is required to attend the Academic Reinforcement, Literacy Academy or Extended School Year Summer Program, their check will be returned in full.
