Burlington County College improves course registration

Students can now enroll for spring courses at Burlington County College with new improvements that make registration easier than ever before.

“Accessing Burlington County College’s high-quality academic programs and excellent bachelor-degree and career pathways has never been easier,” said BCC Interim President Dr. David Spang. “In a few minutes, you can choose to make Burlington County College your destination and be on the way toward educational and career success this spring.”

The college recently redesigned its website, bcc.edu, which offers clear navigation and a crisp look, while preserving access to all relevant information students need for registration, academic resources and financial assistance.

Additionally, the BCC app, offered free through Ellucian at the iPhone App Store and the Android Market, will allow students to register for courses on their mobile devices for the first time. Visit bcc.edu/mobileapp to download the app.

“Burlington County College has many courses, and eight entire degree programs online, that make it convenient for people to access our programs wherever and whenever they want,” Spang said. “Now, our app provides the same type of convenience and customer service for registration.”

The college continues to welcome in-person registration, financial aid and registration requests with a streamlined greeter-desk process that has been piloted the past two semesters to reduce the time students wait in line for service. Students sign in at a greeter desk and then are queued to the appropriate counselor, which allows the line to flow more quickly and efficiency. Walk-in registration opened Monday, Nov. 3.

“Our new greeter desk system saves students time, and helps us identify other areas in which we can make our processes more convenient,” Dr. Spang said.

Visit the college, its website bcc.edu, or use your app to register today or learn more about the college’s high-quality academic programs, bachelor-degree completion programs, financial services, need-based scholarships, military benefits, online courses and much more. The college is also planning an open house for prospective students on Saturday, Nov. 8 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Mount Laurel campus.
