Both the Democratic and Republican parties’ candidates have filed for November’s elections.
The Democratic and Republican parties have nominated three candidates each to run for Palmyra Borough Council in this year’s election.
Democrats Gina Tait and Timothy Howard will run for re-election for a four-year term, and Republicans Susan Vanemburgh and Paul Bisceglie will oppose them.
Republican Frank Cosky will run for re-election for a one-year unexpired term on council. Cosky was appointed to council in December after former councilwoman Shelby Tucker resigned. Democrat Joan Byrem is also running for the unexpired term on council.
The primary election is June 6 and the general election is Nov. 7.
