The department will be accepting disposable materials from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays starting May 23
Palmyra Public Works is already open every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., but now the department is open Wednesday evenings as well throughout the summer.
The department will be open Wednesday evenings from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning in May and running through Sept. 5.
The following items may be taken to Public Works on both Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings:
· Regular trash
· Bulk trash
· Concrete
· Wood (including pressure-treated wood)
· Brush and limbs
· Tires (including rims)
· Metal
· Recycling
· Electronic items
Public Works does not accept items generated from major home remodeling, demolition or construction. That debris must be taken to the county landfill for disposal.
