Harrison Township Elementary School to hold new student orientation

Kindergarten orientation will be held Aug. 29, while grades one through three will be held on Aug. 30

New students and their families of Harrison Township Elementary School are invited to attend an orientation session featuring a tour of the building, meeting teachers and guidance counselors, as well as information on what to expect this school year.

Kindergarten orientation will be held on Aug. 29, with morning kindergarten classes from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and afternoon classes from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On orientation day, a Harrison Township school bus will bring students and one parent from the location on the family’s regular bus pass. For questions in regard to transportation, call Transportation Supervisor Sue Hanlon at 478–2016, ext. 9000.

Orientation for new first through third grade students is scheduled for Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. Students and their parents or guardians will experience a tour of the building and will be introduced to their guidance counselor.
