Tickets can be purchased at the recreation committee’s office found within the township’s municipal building.
The Harrison Township Recreation Committee is selling tickets for their seasonal bus trips to New York City and Maryland.
On Nov. 9, the Harrison Township Recreation Committee is having a 9/11 Memorial & Museum bus trip to the World Trade Center in Manhattan, N.Y.
Charter buses will depart at 9 a.m. from Ella Harris Park and return around 8:30 p.m. The trip includes transportation, timed admission ticket into the 9/11 Memorial & Museum and a four-course dinner at Mastoris in Bordentown, N.J. Coffee with travel lids, water and dry snacks are permitted on the bus.
Tickets are $105 for adults, $90 for youth, seniors and veterans, $95 for college students with identification and $75 for retired or active-duty service members with identification.
In December, two dates are set to depart towards the Big Apple from Ella Harris Park.
On Dec. 12 are the dual rides into Midtown Manhattan. One bus heads towards 50th Street and 6th Avenue for Rockefeller Tree lighting ceremony or to Radio City Music Hall to see the Rockettes. Tickets are $115 and include transportation and the 5 p.m. show of the music hall.
Another bus departs on Dec. 12, for only $50, to explore the city. A 9 p.m. return is scheduled for both buses back to Harrison Township.
On Dec. 28, the township is chartering people to the Gaylord National (National Harbor, Md.) featuring “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The performance is followed by a ride of the Festival of Lights at Watkins Park.
Tickets are $74 for adults, $62 for seniors (aged 55 and up), $58 for children between the ages of 4 and 11, and children under 4 are free.
All tickets for any of the events can be purchased by visiting the recreation office within the municipal building, or by calling (856) 223–8777. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
