Mt. Laurel EMS will teach the the effects of blood loss and provide hands-on use of a tourniquet to members of the public.
Mt. Laurel EMS will host the next class in its recently launched “Stop the Bleed” campaign on Dec. 6.
This campaign focuses on training residents and employees of local businesses to apply tourniquets to control bleeding in the event of an emergency.
According to Mt. Laurel EMS, those who signup for this free class can learn about the effects of blood loss and the tools available to stop bleeding.
Participants will also have the ability to gets hands on use of a tourniquet.
Mt. Laurel EMS would hold its next class of the Stop the Bleed campaign on Dec. 6 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Mt. Laurel EMS Headquarters, 201 Masonville-Centerton Road.
