Burlington County Sheriff’s Department continues free child safety seat inspections

Inspections take place at select times on Wednesdays at the Burlington County Administration Building.

Burlington County Sheriff Jean Stanfield is reminding residents that her department continues to provide free child safety seat inspections every Wednesday from 10A a.m. through 2 p.m. and again from 5 through 8 p.m. at the Burlington County Administration Building.

According to the county, the department’s Child Passenger Safety Seat Program conducts hands-on training for parents and caregivers to ensure that their children’s safety seats are properly installed.

According to the county, the Sheriff’s Department Child Safety Seat Team consists of state certified technicians who check all child safety seats for unsafe seats and recalls.
