The library’s Fall Friday Night Dance Series is a chance for family and friends to explore the art of dance in the library’s 250-seat auditorium. Each performance showcases the beauty and artistry behind a different style of dance.
Featuring artists from New York City and Philadelphia, this series brings a diverse selection of culturally enriching entertainment to area residents.
Recognized for its artistic integrity and superbly trained dancers, The Philadelphia Dance Company (PHILADANCO) presents an electrifying show featuring two exciting performances. “Folded Prism” is a full company work infusing the choreographic imagery of Thang Dao set to the hypnotic original music compilation by John Levis.
“Between the Lines” from choreographer Francisco Gella was inspired by the architectural drawings of Frank Lloyd Wright, who himself was inspired by Beethoven’s lush compositions.
