Mt Laurel is next town to host freeholder meeting

Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly announced that the second public meeting “road-show” will be held on Wednesday, August 14 at 7 p.m. at the Mt. Laurel Municipal Building, 100 Mt. Laurel Road.

As part of the Transparency Plan that Freeholder Donnelly initiated in the beginning of the year, the Freeholder Board have been taking some of their meetings on the road to towns in various locations around the county.

The first Road Show meeting was held in June in Burlington Township. The meeting was a huge success with more than 60 residents in attendance.

“We want to make sure that all of our residents have the opportunity to be a part of County Government,” said Burlington County Freeholder Director Joe Donnelly. “Taking meetings to different parts of the County will give folks an opportunity to attend meetings in their home towns.”

Additional road shows are being planned and will be announced once details are finalized. Check the County website for updates: www.co.burlington.nj.us
