Lenape High School Interscholastic Volleyball and Harrington Middle School Intramural Volleyball are teaming with the Side-Out Foundation to help support breast cancer research.
Dig Pink fundraisers are being held on Wednesday, Oct. 16 and Saturday, Oct. 20.
On Wednesday, students are encouraged to support Lenape volleyball by wearing pink to school. Family and friends are invited to attend Lenape High School’s volleyball match against Seneca at 3:45 p.m. that afternoon.
On Sunday, a Dig Pink 5K run and walk will be held at Laurel Acres Park in Mt. Laurel. The 5K will begin at 9 a.m. with registration starting at 7:30 a.m. Anyone who registers early will also get a free t-shirt.
Donations will be collected for the Side-Out Foundation at both events. All proceeds will go to the organization’s fight against breast cancer. To donate online, visit www.side-out.org/cb/campaigns/campaign/7510
