Mt. Laurel Police arrested a 19-year-old male of the 400 block of Equality Court at his residence on June 21 at 10:00 p.m. His arrest was the result of an investigation into a robbery that occurred on June 16 on the 200 block of Kirby Way.
During that incident the suspect and three male juveniles assaulted a 17-year-old victim. They took the victim’s cigarettes and attempted to take his cell phone.
The suspect was also arrested for a theft that occurred on the 300 block of Tolerance Court on May 19. During that incident, he arranged to sell a pair of sneakers to an 18-year-old male victim via the internet. The victim presented $200 and a pair of sunglasses worth $160 as payment for the sneakers. The suspect took the money and sunglasses and ran off.
At the time of his arrest, he was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit robbery, theft, assault and possession of marijuana under 50 grams. He was lodged at the Burlington County Jail in lieu of a total of $16,500Â bail.
