In recognition and observance of Women’s History Month, the Southern Burlington County Branch of the NAACP will host a panel discussion named “Women in the Workplace: Balancing, Leaning, and Making a Seat at the Table“ at Mt. Laurel Library on Sunday, March 29 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. No registration is required.
The diverse panel of women will provide their experiences and insights on issues surrounding gender and diversity in the working world. The aim is to facilitate discussion and shed light on barriers that continue to hinder women’s professional development and success and ways in which they can be overcome. The discussion panelists include representatives from the field of law, labor, military, self-employment as well as attendees.
Donations of feminine hygiene products will be collected for a women’s homeless shelter.
