Mt. Laurel Police say more than $11,000 in items stolen during vehicle break-ins on Feb. 7

Police say the incidents took place at Burn Boot Camp and ProSwim Fitness, with more than $3,000 in damage to the vehicles as well.

The following information is on file with the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department:

On Feb. 7, the Mt. Laurel Township Police Department responded to reports of thefts from multiple motor vehicles at Burn Boot Camp, located at 872 Union Mill Road, and ProSwim Fitness, located at 6000 Commerce Parkway.

On Feb. 7, between the hours of 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m., police say an unknown individual or individuals allegedly broke into seven vehicles parked in the lot at Burn Boot Camp.

According to police, windows were broken in each of the vehicle and items were taking belonging to five of the seven victims.

Police say the damage to all of the vehicles was estimated at $2,200.

According to police, a total of over $10,000 worth of items were stolen from five of the vehicles.

Police say detectives responded out to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.

On the same morning, between the hours of 5:45 a.m. and 6:45 a.m, police say am unknown or individuals broke into two vehicles parked at ProSwim Fitness.

According to police, each vehicle had a rear window smashed, with a total estimated theft of $1,200. Police say the damage to the vehicles is estimated to be $1,000.
