The Historical Society of Moorestown will be hosting the very popular “Ghost Tours” on three consecutive Sunday evenings — Oct. 11, 18 and 25.
One walking tour will be held each evening beginning at 7 p.m., meeting in front of the Smith-Cadbury Mansion, located at 12 High Street, Moorestown. There will be no advance ticket sales this year.
Please arrive at 6:30 p.m. to ensure your spot.
Our tour guide again this year will be Joe Wetterling of Moorestown Ghost Research. The ghost tours will begin at Smith-Cadbury, where Wetterling will tell some ghostly tales in the courtyard. We will then proceed on a walking tour of Main Street to learn more about some of the haunted buildings, churches, cemeteries and the “old jail” that we pass by every day. The tour will conclude at Smith-Cadbury Mansion with some refreshments and the opportunity to view some photos and literature on Moorestown ghost stories.
The ghost tours will go on rain or shine. Please bring a flashlight, dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes!
Admission is $15 adults, $10 seniors and Historical Society members and $8 for students.
