In its many years of scholarship giving, the Rotary Club of Moorestown has awarded $659,000 to promising and deserving high school seniors. Started in 1963 with a $1,000 scholarship covering all 4 years at Glassboro State, the program has grown in strength and number to help students with today’s tuition costs. Rotarians raise funds for the scholarships through annual projects including the Scott Coffee 8K Memorial Run, held the first Saturday in June, and the Rotary Pancake Breakfast now held in the fall. The club thanks the entire community for its support of these events.
