Track meet brings firsts and personal bests

Moorestown High School Boys Track recently competed in the South Jersey Open at Buena High School.

Senior Anthony Horten won the 3,200 meter run with a time of 9:33. He’s the first Moorestown athlete to win an event at this meet.

Senior JoJo White made finals in the 100 meeter with a time of11.10 — a personal record. Senior Kamal Steward also ran a 11.11 personal record. Sophomore Sidney Ruffin made finals in long jump with a leap of 20–6 1/2. Sophomore Jeremy Wilbur had a personal best of 160–7 in the javelin. White, Steward, and Ruffin are ranked in the NJ Top 15 for their events.
