They leave as boys, return as men

Seven Moorestown High School boys attended the 66th Annual American Legion Jersey Boys State program at Rider University. They earned selection to this nation wide activity based on leadership, scholarship, patriotism and service.

The goal of the legion program is to develop good citizens in the United States of America by inspiring the youth of the state to take a more active and intelligent interest in the operation of the state and nation. The attendees are also educated on the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship and the sacrifices made by Veterans to preserve this nation and its way of life.
