Moorestown police arrest Cinnaminson burglar

Cinnaminson Police arrested Wendell Ross, age 52 of the 100 block of Main Street in Moorestown, on Sept. 1 after he had been identified as the actor involved in the burglary to a residence in the 300 block of Forklanding Road in Cinnaminson earlier that day.

According to police reports, Ross, who used to live in the neighborhood, was identified as a result of several witnesses who observed him at the home that had been burglarized. The occupant had been in the hospital and had returned that day to find the burglary.

Ross was arrested at his apartment by Moorestown Police Department officers and turned over to the Cinnaminson Police Department. At the station, Ross admitted his involvement and allowed officers to search his room where some of the stolen merchandise, including a television and stereo system, were recovered.

Ross is suspected of being involved in several other area burglaries and detectives are continuing their investigation. Ross was remanded to the Burlington County Jail in default of $20,000 full cash bail.
