Tim Kerrihard, President & CEO, YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties, a charitable non-profit organization, was recently selected to participate in the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) Honorary Commanders Program. The Honorary Commanders Program facilitates communication between the surrounding communities and military personnel by showcasing joint base capabilities, future leaders and the caliber of men and women serving at JBÂ MDL.
Kerrihard, a resident of Moorestown, was selected for the program based on his exemplary record of service to the community and professional excellence. Throughout his one-year tenure as Honorary Commander, Kerrihard is teaming up with Colonel Marty Chapin, commander of the 621st Contingency Response Wing where he will have access to the base, attend official functions and participate in military operations.
As president and CEO of the YMCA of Burlington and Camden Counties, Kerrihard spearheads the YMCA’s mission of strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility by providing programs and services to more than 10,000 members of the community, including the City of Camden.
