‘Blessing of the Animals’ at Trinity Episcopal on Oct. 6

A “Blessing of the Animals” family event will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6, at Trinity Episcopal Church in Moorestown.

The church is located at 207 W. Main Street at the intersection of Main and Church streets.

Those attending this free event are asked to bring their pets to be blessed. A variety of animals will be presented by several animal organizations from the area.

The one-hour event will include a brief service and blessing of each individual animal, conducted by the rector of Trinity Church, The Rev. Philip Stowell.

This 11th annual event will celebrate the life and work of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals.

For more information, please phone Trinity Church at (856) 235–0811.
