Moorestown’s 4th of July Committee holds Freedom Lecture June 4

Moorestown’s 4th of July Committee is proud to announce that we are going to have the parade again this year.

Leading up to the parade we will hold our annual Freedom Lecture; an event designed to enhance the reason for celebrating our national freedom. This year’s Lecture is entitled “Constitution and Relevance in the Twenty-First Century” and will be given by the speakers from the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. The lecture examines what makes the Constitution such an integral part of the lives of Americans, and how they have viewed their framework of government since its inception. Furthermore, the lecture will explore possible future amendments and how the Constitution remains relevant in today’s world.

The Freedom Lecture will take place at the Moorestown Library on June 4 at 7 p.m. It is free to the public and light refreshments will be available. No registration required.

Go to www.moorestown4thjuly.org to register for the lecture, for participation in the parade, or to donate to help the committee pay for these functions.

The Moorestown 4th of July Committee is a 501©(3) tax-exempt organization.
