A visit from Mother Goose will add a little “magic” to the first Music on Main Street concert, June 22 on the Community House lawn. Using puppets, props and help from audience members, Mother Goose, portrayed by professional entertainer Marilyn Scanlon, will delight children and their families with rhymes and tales, giving small children an introduction to “live theater.”
Mother Goose will be the featured performer for the “Kids Stage” at 6:30 p.m., followed by a variety of pop, jazz and musical theater performances presented by MoorArts on the Main Stage at 7:30 p.m.
The Music on Main Street concert series, June 22 through Aug. 10, is presented by the Moorestown Parks and Recreation Department, and supported by Moorestown Business Association, Moorestown Community House, MoorArts and Live Civilly.
