Congressman MacArthur visits Moorestown UES to promote reading challenge

Congressman Tom MacArthur today announced he will be promoting the Third Congressional District Reading Challenge at the Upper Elementary School in Moorestown at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 29.

Congressman MacArthur’s reading challenge was launched at the beginning of the school year to encourage students to carve out time for their favorite books. Each participating student is required to read three books before the March 18 deadline to receive a Congressional Certificate of Recognition. To date, nearly 400 students have participated in the challenge across the Third Congressional District.
