Moorestown Education Foundation helps schools

The Moorestown Education Foundation (MEF) Board of Trustees welcomed Moorestown Township Public Schools district staff with a catered breakfast as they arrived for their Presidents’ Day in-service activity and encouraged teachers and administrators to utilize the foundation’s grant program during the morning’s festive kick-off. The breakfast was followed by a short presentation highlighting the MEF’s mission to partner with schools to support and advance the quality of the public school system with private funds, and outlining the foundation’s streamlined process for grant application.

The MEF’s grant programs are designed to develop and fund opportunities that will have a lasting impact on the educational experience of students in Moorestown’s public schools. The foundation awards large and small grants throughout the year that range from innovative projects in individual classrooms to district-wide initiatives that improve the experience of the entire student population. The MEF Board of Trustees is comprised of at-large trustees, as well as the president and vice president of the MTPS Board of Education, members of the MTPS administration, and advisory trustees representing the Moorestown Education Association, MoorArts and Moorestown Home & School.
