On Aug 31., Congressman Tom MacArthur visited the Moorestown Rotary Breakfast Club to speak about his freshman term in congress and the challenges facing our District and the country.
MacArthur represents over one million citizens residing in the Third Congressional District of New Jersey covering Burlington and Ocean Counties. The meeting covered veterans affairs, importance of national security and Joint Base Mcguire-Dix-Lakehurst and how to cross the isle to get more accomplished in Congress.
Congressman MacArthur serves on the House Committee on Armed Services and the Committee on Natural Resources. On the House Committee on Armed Services, he sits on the Subcommittee on Tactical Air and Land Forces and serves as the Vice Chairman on the Subcommittee on Military Personnel.
Also in Moorestown on Aug. 31 to meet with Rep. Mac Arthur and a small group of residents was the Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan to address a better way to led our country.
