We wanted to take the time to let you know about a very special person within our community.
His name is James Hilton and he is the most phenomenal school bus driver any kid could ask for. There are bus drivers and there are bus drivers, and then, there is “Mr. Awesome.”
This is the name that our children as well as the other children on the bus refer to when speaking of him, and Mr. Awesome is exactly nothing short of that! Ask any kid that has the privilege to sit on his bus.
As a school bus driver, he is the first person our children interact with. With his infectious, caring personality, he starts them off to a great day. He is also the last person they encounter and for our children to step off of his bus with smiling faces, telling us the stories of fun times and laughter with Mr. Awesome, what more could we as parents ask for?
By doing exactly that, he takes his job way above and beyond the job of a school bus driver.
We feel that our three children are as safe as can be while driving with him. He follows the rules and enforces the children to do the same and yet, he does not let a day go by just as “boring.” We trust him 100 percent.
We could not be more grateful to have him as part of our daily lives and feel that all of you should be aware of the legend, Mr. Awesome. He has proven over the years that he leads the children by being a positive role model and is a person of good character.
Mr. Awesome deserves recognition for being as dedicated as he is that reaches far beyond the department of transportation.
He already has over the past four years and continues to impact our family for life. It is evident that he cares for the children in our community as we care for him.
