A mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Moorestown.
Phyllis Howery (nee Claypool) passed away on June 23 at the age 93 of in Cherry Hill. She was formerly of Moorestown.
Phyllis was retired from the Camden City Schools where she had worked for many years as a teacher. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma and Pi Lambda Theta. Phyllis was a lifelong member of the Girls Scouts of Camden County servicing in many capacities over the years. She was also was a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council 15658 Ladies auxiliary.
Wife of the late Richard, Phyllis was also the mother of Cat, Tricia, Zoe and Rebecca. She is survived by her sister Jeanne and her four grandchildren.
