Moorestown Township Police Department: Weekly Police Reports

The following reports are on file with the Moorestown Township Police Department.

On Friday, Sept. 1, a 38-year-old man from was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The man took jewelry, shoes and a handbag from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall valued at$524.97. He was released on a summons.

On Saturday, Sept. 2, a 25-year-old Burlington City man was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The man concealed two dresses valued at $496 from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall. He was released on a summons.

On Sunday, Sept. 3, a 23-year-old Mt. Laurel woman was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 50 grams due to a motor vehicle stop. The woman released on a special summons.

Also on Sept. 3, a 28-year-old Mt. Holly resident was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The suspect concealed merchandise from Lord & Taylor in the Moorestown Mall for a total value of $214.50 and was as in possession of a magnet and sensor detacher hook, clothing from another Lord & Taylor store and had a needle on him. He was transported to the Burlington County Jail on a warrant.

On Monday, Sept. 4, a 28-year-old Hainesport resident was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia due to a motor vehicle stop. The suspect was released on a summons.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, a 51-year-old Willingboro woman was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The woman concealed merchandise from Marshalls Department Store on Route 38 for a total value of $213.09. She was committed to the Burlington County Jail on a warrant.

On Wednesday, Sept. 6, a victim reported taking their shoes off while in the Moorestown Library, and when leaving the library the left shoe, a purple and black Nike basketball shoe, was missing.

Also on Wednesday, a 37-year-old Pemberton man was arrested and charged with shoplifting. The man concealed clothing for a total value of $355 from Boscov’s Department Store in the Moorestown Mall. He was remanded to the Burlington County Jail on a warrant.
