MTC bringing ‘scenes and songs’ from Broadway, movies, TV and plays

MTC will hold four performances of “Scenes and Songs” from Thursday, Oct. 26 through Sunday, Oct. 29.

For the fourth time in five years, the Moorestown Theater Company (MTC) will present its “Alternative Stage” production of “Scenes & Songs IV.” This show was created and is directed by Tom McHale, the Vice Chairperson of MTC’s Board of Trustees (who is also known as “Mr. Pie Lady‟ — his wife Christi owns and operates Moorestown’s Pie Lady Café).

Scenes & Songs IV is a theatrical journey that visits scenes and songs from Broadway musicals, Hollywood movies, television shows and original plays. There will be four performances by a 50-member adult cast on Thursday, Oct. 26, Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. as well as Sunday, Oct. 29 at 2 p.m. at Westfield Friends School located at 2201 Riverton Road in Cinnaminson.

“This is such a labor of love for me to direct this production, and I truly believe that our fourth version of Scenes & Songs will be our best,” McHale said. “We have so many talented performers in our cast, and our collection of scenes and songs will provide something for everyone.”

The details about Scenes & Songs IV can be found at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org. Attendees can purchase tickets online at www.MoorestownTheaterCompany.org or at the door beginning one hour before curtain time in the lobby at WFS.

Tickets are $17 for Adults and $13 for Seniors and Students. Call MTC at (856)778–8357 with questions or to get more information about Scenes & Songs IV.
