The Medford Township Department of Recreation is offering a trip to the internationally renowned Philadelphia Flower Show on Tuesday.
This year’s theme “springtime in Paris” will transport visitors to the City of Light — the capital of art, fashion, food and love. Paths lined with flowering trees, lilacs, roses and lavender will meander through the exhibit and a Moulin Rouge setting will offer cabaret performances.
There will be free gardening presentations and educational displays that highlight the newest gardening trends.
As always, a marketplace will provide an array of gardening related treasures. The International Wine and Spirits Garden, presented by the PA Wine and Spirits, and a variety of food stands, will provide refreshments.
The price for charter motor coach transportation and a ticket to the show is $44. The bus will depart from Bob Bende Park on Route 541 at 8:45 a.m. and return at 3:30 p.m.
