You’ve probably heard that Medford Township wants to increase taxes 25 percent, or $325 for the average homeowner. Well, they can’t do that without your vote, so it’s time to get some information.
The first of thee community meetings intended to educate residents about the referendum question and proposed 2011 municipal budget is scheduled for tonight.
The meeting is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Taunton Fire House on Gravelly Hollow Road.
Two more meetings are scheduled for this week — one tomorrow and one on Thursday.
