POLICE: fugitive arrested at Shawnee craft fair

On March 23 at 9 a.m. the Medford Township Police received information that a fugitive may be attending a craft fair at the Shawnee High School as a vendor.

The fugitive from New Mexico is wanted for embezzlement.

It was confirmed that New Mexico would extradite the individual if arrested.

The suspect was arrested as she arrived on location without incident.

Bail was set at $25,000 full cash for being a fugitive from justice and lodged at the Burlington County Jail.

New Mexico will be making arrangements to have the fugitive extradited back for trial.

The suspect is also wanted in Virginia for embezzlement but extradition for that warrant is limited to surrounding states only.
