Brush fire in Medford

On May 12, at 3:18pm units from the Medford Township Police and Fire Departments responded to Saw Mill Road for a brush fire. Upon arrival, officers located a brush fire that was 1/4 acre in size between two residences on Saw Mill Rd. Neither of the residences sustained any damage during the fire. The Medford Township Fire Department was assisted extinguishing the fire by the New Jersey state forest fire service, Evesham fire-rescue and the Medford Lakes Fire Departments. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the NJ Forest Fire Service.
