Better Together — LRHSD strategic planning process
The community is invited to partake in engagement sessions to plan for the next five years.
Drawing inspiration from its theme this year, “Better Together,” the Lenape Regional High School District invites the community to take part in the strategic planning process to plan for the next five years. The administration will hold four community engagement sessions, beginning with one on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Cherokee High School located at 120 Tomlinson Mill Rd in Marlton.
Information gathered at these focus-group style meetings will allow the LRHSD community members, parents, students, staff, administration and Board of Education members to create a shared vision among all stakeholders. RSVP to [email protected].
The remaining LRHSD high schools will each host a similar forum for community members to join in the strategic planning process: Shawnee High School, Nov. 1; Seneca High School, Nov. 19; and Lenape High School, Dec. 5.
Each meeting will follow the same process and ask participants to identify the district’s strengths (things to preserve) and future expectations. The district has reached the end of its previous 10-year strategic plan and looks to create a refreshed vision, especially to keep pace with the rapidly changing educational landscape. These meetings are the first steps in the process to create the new LRHSD strategic plan.
